I use a 3 megapixel digital camera and you're really not good at working with it unless you have a big fat memory card. 64MB is a good amount for this card as you can take at least 65 shots (at the highest resolution). Since such a map also takes some time to fill up, you don't have to constantly stop to erase pictures when you should be taking pictures. The best pictures are created spontaneously, not after you have deleted the pictures from the memory card. I know I'd rather fill up that memory card after a few uses and then format it than take photos and find none of them were taken because my card was full. A large memory card saves you from heartache. :)
