Replacing the old unit was almost easy. First he solved the problem with the warning light in the traction control. After poking my head under the dash, the brake switch was right in front of me. I unplugged the electrical connector and flipped the switch and it fell out immediately. lined up to replace it, was pushing it just as the old one came out. Another twist to fix it, plug it in and you're done. I used a small screwdriver to pry open the latch on the connector and flashlight. I recommend OEM parts through the aftermarket for a few bucks more but it's worth it. The OEM came with a spare nut in case the original breaks.
