It costs a few bucks more for a perfectly fitting phone holder that's centered but doesn't interfere with the air vents. It snaps easily into place and installs quickly without even looking at the instructions. It holds my iPhone X perfectly (the weight of the phone moves the side holders in and out during insertion and removal) and keeps the dashboard crisp. I was a little apprehensive about it fitting the 2015 X5 since that year wasn't on the list, but it was a perfect fit. Great purchase and very happy I found it!
