This notebook is good for beginners, but don't expect to be able to draw complex or professional drawings. You have to look at the screen to see what your drawing is. I mean there is no picture on the tablet. If you pick up the pen, you'll know better where you left off, otherwise you'll have to start over. It's a bit of a learning curve to get used to looking at the monitor and not the paper. The more you use it, the better you become. If you want to create more professional drawings, it is better to invest in an LCD tablet. Although for the price it's not bad. It works great, nice and thin.
