Review on 🧥 Rothco Travel Vest - Uncle Milty Edition by Jeremy Gulledge

I am 5 feet 7 inches tall and weigh about 200 pounds. I was a little confused by the size as some people said it was bigger and others said it was smaller. I chose <Large> because that's what I wear on t-shirts. I ordered it on 02/28/2017 and received it on 09/03/2017. As soon as I received it I put it on and it fit perfectly. The stitching seems well done. The <Fishhook> is removable as it is held to the pocket with Velcro instead of being sewn onto it which is a big improvement over the last two types of vests I've had. This is now my EDC / Travelers vest. I measured the pockets. as far as I could and I will list them below. A NOTICE. First I measured horizontally/width and left to right on the grouped pockets. LEFT TOP INNER POCKET 4" X 5 1/2". This bag is big enough to carry a ZTE Sonata 3 phone if I choose to. LEFT LOWER INSIDE POCKET 1' X 7 1/2" Of note is this pocket and the one on the rig. The top does not close fully allowing you to carry pens and pencils upright in these two pockets. The downside is that they can somehow slip out of pocket and possibly get lost 6" In this bag I wear sunglasses and a headscarf. 4.4" X 4" REAR POCKET 1' 1 1/2" X 10" zipper hole is on the right side. I personally would prefer all future versions of this vest to have a top opening. INNER RIGHT POCKET 1' X 7 1/2" TOP RIGHT POCKET 4" X 4" OUTER RIGHT MIDDLE POCKET 1.3" X 5 1/2" I carry a monocular and disposable lighter in this pocket. SIDE POCKET 2, 2 1/2" X 5 1/2" This pouch is big enough for my leather shooting and also fits in a Victorinox hunter with limited space 2" RIGHT LOWER EXTERIOR POCKET 2.9" X 6" " I carry a roll of toilet paper in my bag. RIGHT OUTER BOTTOM POCKET 3.4" X 4" I carry duct tape in this pocket. A NOTICE. The duck tape sits on top of the plastic card and flattens it RIGHT LOWER EXTERNAL POCKET 4.4"X4" I've had vests like this before and they've served me well, but I can see myself getting another one like this Der Price isn't bad and it has the number of pockets I need and want. able to negate the need for a fanny pack and my ALICE mini backpack for everyday use. The fact that it fits well is always a plus. Back to the <size chart>. I suggest focusing on what you wear in a regular t-shirt - shirt sizes depend on whether you want a looser fit. Many reviewers speak of wanting to wear this vest on the outside of a jacket or ts coat. To be honest. It's confusing for me as I've always worn this type of clothing underneath. BUT to each his own. what t-shirt size are you. YES, I would definitely recommend this vest to anyone looking for a quality vest for EDC and/or travel. UPDATE 03/13/2017. D> The rings on the vest are made of stainless steel. I tested them with a small magnet to be sure and they were attracted to the magnet. UPDATE 5/9/2019 Today the zipper on the lower right outer pocket broke and I was unable to fix it. Nonetheless. The vest has served me well for a little over 2 years, so despite the fact that the price has gone up. one.special message to Rothco staff.please put better zippers.preferably YKK.on your vests.thanks.
