Review on πŸƒ Castlerock Men's Athletic Shoes with Fila Resistant Composite for Running by Jack Ford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

3 Month Review - Good and Bad

Good: - Ultra light - Shock absorbing sole - Inexpensive - Comfortable Bad: - Definitely a home only sole! - Terrible in wet or cold weather - Poor ) - Composite sock but basically no side, heel and sole protection - No removable insole. Legs. The outsole is super soft and the composite toe box is at least OSHA compliant. The rest of the shoe is mostly made of soft fabric. So if you really need lasting protection, keep looking. In my work, I spend a lot of time outdoors, on sidewalks and other uneven surfaces, and in wet weather. Too much for these shoes. After 3 months of use there was almost no tread left on the sole and the bottom rubber layer started to peel off. I got caught in the rain a few times and it felt like I had dish sponges on my feet lol. In general, I like the shoes, they just aren't designed for my needs. I'll do better research next time. I would also like to be able to replace the insoles (they are glued in) but at this price I can't complain. I give 3 stars mainly for the insoles and because Fila has to be clear about what these shoes can and cannot do.
