This cable is great for connecting your USB-C device to any TV, monitor or other display device. Both my Chromebook and regular laptop recognized this cable with no problem and cast the perfect image to my WQHD (2560 x 1440) monitor with a 75Hz refresh rate. The cable itself is well made, with a strong nylon outer jacket, good flexibility and a metal connector. Shellfish. The end of the HDMI cable generates a small amount of heat during use, but its aluminum casing keeps temperatures down well. The only downside to this cable is that the connector strain reliefs are too short and rigid to last long. Longer, more flexible strain reliefs protect the cable from bending stress in the connectors, but those on this cable appear to be primarily decorative. Overall, this cable deserves a 4.5 star rating for its excellent functionality and overall good construction. I always like to see some decent strain relief on my cables, but that's not enough to lower my rating by a full star.
