First I remove the bad, the rocket's fins are very thin and break too easily. Even if your kids just launch them and let them fall and land naturally on the ground. The red plastic fins on the rockets are pretty easy to break, break, tear, tear, etc. However, that doesn't seem to detract from the overall fun, especially if you ask the kids. Not only do our kids love them and the launcher, all the neighborhood kids come to see what we do when we play with them in the backyard. You start intelligently and respectfully high with the right stomp. My 4 and 6 year olds have no problem letting them fly high in the air. They then try to catch them as they fall. These rockets make a great toy, provided you have the original launch pad, of course. Accessibility, fun, and lack of durability may be purely cosmetic, and we won't let that affect our overall score too much.
