Review on 🔌 Metra 82-8148: Premium Speaker Adapter for 1998-Up Toyota/Lexus/Scion Vehicles by Ben Barrington

I bought Metra 82-8148 speaker adapter for 2005 Toyota Corolla front doors. I also bought their wiring harness. No wiring harness required but for $7 it was worth it. The speaker adapters fit my Corolla perfectly. There were no problems with the installation, the holes were drilled in the factory holes. To remove them, you need to drill rivets into the factory fasteners. My only issue was that the mounting bolts for the highest mounting point were too long, too close to the power window, so I used the shorter one I found. The 6.5" Kicker CS speakers fit perfectly into the provided mounting holes with the included screws. Recommended for a quick and easy installation.
