This is one of the funnest AM/FM radios I've ever had. I also use a CC pocket radio which I also really like but size aside the Sangean has a better one. The Sangean isn't really a portable device for on the go, but it's great for at home. I won't list the specs - you can find them in many places on the internet (including the description on Amazon). However, check out Jay Allen's excellent radio performance rating. I've had him for about a week now. What I like: - All buttons work well and look very solid - 10 presets are enough to store enough stations to give frequency placeholders. Range (no direct input) - Reception is fantastic, both AM and FM. The best headphones I've ever had (my reference is the GE SR3). I like the sound on both AM and FM. The volume control works very smoothly. Adapter included) What could be improved: - No handle. This has already been discussed. However, there is a ridge on the back of the radio that helps with picking up the radio. - The power button is easy to accidentally press - I would use a different set of 5-10 AMO presets. All in all a great and entertaining radio. !
