Short on Length in Slings

This bag is so-so. I did not see "internal dimensions" in the list. Due to photo distortion, I thought it was larger than other R&R lines I've seen. I'm not sure why the external dimensions are listed in the product information. List both side by side. I had to look back at the lists when I wanted to put the LOOOOOOONG Dachshund in my bag. The front of the shoulders/neck of the neck to the buttocks is 18 inches, so at 17 inches (I later realized it was the "external measurement") I was happy to find a long enough sling for that. Additionally, most websites state that it is acceptable for dogs up to 10 pounds. I'm sure the description here says ยฃ25. The listing appears to have changed as the weight limit is no longer listed. Enough with the listing problems. I really like the product. Seems to be well put together. My 14kg dog sits in it well and seems to be holding his weight. I'm a little confused by other comments that it's not durable. This is a sling, not a kennel. There is a bit of a hard bottom on the sling which is nice. It appears to be waterproof. When I sit down, my dog's head pops out of the mesh top perfectly. I love that there are two-way zippers so I can only open his head. I don't think it would be "acceptable in the cabin" unless you have a teacup sized dog. The rules state that your dog must fit under the seat in front of you, sit in the kennel, stand and be able to turn (soft or hard side). As dachshunds are long and short the height of the center of the bag was not an issue, the mesh was acceptable and similar to other padded bags I have. It's hard to carry the bag on the side, I almost have to carry it to the front, but it's perfectly adequate for my needs. The only other thing that might help is the sherpa on the inside against the nylon as it's slippery. (Again, not a "backpack" but a sling, so that's fine). I like places for keys, phones and other items. The shoulder strap makes a comfortable impression. Much better than the risers I've used before (and broke halfway through the airport). I may revise my rating after longer use.
