45 minutes self-assembly - looks elegant with 60 inch

a giant piece of wood from the 80's that we have used for years and now my whole living room feels different. I like it. The assembly alone took about 45 minutes. They don't really need anything other than what they are. Make sure it's beautiful. There are a few quirks during construction. . Before inserting, note that the cork actually prevents the unit from sliding on hardwood floors. The legs you install are very smooth plastic. So if you want it to have a little more grip, maybe skip this step. You install 2 long poles. i It helps if you thread them through the base, attach a washer and nut before moving on to the top ones. This eliminates the need to lean anything forward, which in itself can be questionable. Otherwise it would have been a pretty easy setup. The directions are clear and the parts are all there. I actually installed the brackets on the back of my 60" TV before removing the legs from the TV, hanging the TV on a new stand and then removing them. It also made administration easier. Looks great, very heavy and durable, worth the price they charge. A "minus" - the black glass of the stand gets dusty very easily. I noticed a fresh coat on it after just a few days and it makes me feel like I need to spend a lot more time dusting my house.
