Works well as a fairly warm layer under a jumper or sweatshirt without adding bulk to the arms. Unlike a tank top or camisole, because it has short sleeves, it covers the shoulders for warmth. The bottom of the fleece is thinner than expected, making it slightly warmer than a regular t-shirt, but not as warm as I expected. If this lining was thicker, maybe it would be warmer. Finally, the shirt feels like stretchy polyester with a slight sheen on the outside, which I don't like. The shine on the outside makes the shirt unattractive. Otherwise it's good.
