Simple and effective. I was a little concerned that they might fit differently on the thumb and pinky, but that's not really a problem. They stayed on all my fingers even when I moved and tried to do something while waiting. You never slipped. The cotton pads worked very well. I took a stack of 10 pieces, soaked them in acetone and put them in clips. I folded them in four before inserting the clips so they wouldn't hang around and dry out the rest of my skin. If you're concerned about dry skin, I recommend applying a moisturizer before putting on the braces and you'll be fine. I suggest starting with your little fingers and leaving your thumb and forefinger to finish. It was a bit difficult to capture the last clip but no more than 2 seconds of struggle.
