I can't imagine flying this baby with my phone. I am sorry. But there is a sense of real control, making controlling any quadcopter much easier and more accurate. The idea of a virtual cell phone controller sounds like a good idea. But it's not as good as having an actual physical set of sticks and buttons in your hands. It should now be easier with this GameSir controller. But you still have to connect everything via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a physical cable, and then program it properly to make it work. This company's instructions are not entirely clear on how to do this. I had to consult a few forums and YouTube videos to finally get it right. It's quite difficult even for me. And I have a lot of experience with drones. So definitely not for beginners. This "Fly More" pack is pretty complete, with extra batteries, charger, controller, USB cables, extra top covers, etc. The only thing I think they might be missing is the camera lens cleaning kit. I've seen the same kit in many other "Fly More" combinations. It's pretty much useless. Also, the user has to watch a lot of videos of him flying this thing before trying to do it himself. And I highly recommend leaving the prop guard on until you get the hang of it. The extra weight shortens the flight time. But it's better than breaking propellers. The "Optical Flow" positioning system (small eye below) helps stabilize the quad IF you have the right surfaces under the quad. It will NOT work if the surface is too uniform in color and texture. If you fly over a smooth, flat surface of the same color, the plane will drift. Overall this is a great little quad that can provide hours of fun and some cool photos and videos. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get into this hobby on a budget. But be prepared to learn a few things before attempting to fly it. Four stars.
