I bought this tool to do detailed sanding work on curved areas (sides, body, etc.) of TK Instruments guitars. My only complaints: 1: It's too long, so it's awkward to use at first. It would be nice if it were about 1.5 inches shorter2: In order for it to work like a random orbit sander, you have to run the tool while it's pressing on the object you're sanding, otherwise it will spin. and can leave ugly swirl marks on your project. {Because of this issue, using the variable speed control pedal helps a lot}. However, once you get used to their slight awkwardness (again due to their length), the results can be pretty good. Another thing I have to mention is that the sandpaper that comes with this little device is awesome! It never falls off with intensive use, it's very strong and durable, so I'll stock it up. (I really hope they never go out of business because I don't know if I'll ever be able to find other 2" PSA sandpaper discs like these). There really is nothing that compares. (I observe!). And grinding guitar edges by hand is tedious, so this little creature helps me a lot. but much! It's not perfect, but if it were ever lost or stolen I would definitely have to buy another one.
