I am completely impressed with this dress! I’m telling you before you spend $1000 or more, order this dress and try it on! If you don’t like it, send it back. Take my word for it. It is a beautiful dress and would look great on many women. If you have a little bulge in the butt or the gut, make sure to wear a compression garment underneath to smooth out the bulges. That’s going to be the deal with any mermaid style dress-they show your curves (the good and the bad ones). Just wear the appropriate undergarments and you’ll be good to go! The dress is comfortable, feminine, sexy and nice quality. I could have a $50,000 wedding and wear this dress and it would fit in or I could have a $150 elopement in Vegas and it would work either way. Seriously. Now a word about sizing. I ordered an XL based on the size chart. I might exchange it for a L. If I do, I’ll update this review. It fits very nice but isn’t snug like mermaid dresses usually are. I usually wear a size 10-12 in almost any brand and can wear a few 8’s. I’m 47 years old, 5’5” and 165lbs. I feel like this is one of those dresses that I could wear a L or XL in and not see a huge difference. By the way, this would be a great bridesmaid dress in the other colors if you were going for an elegant look and wanted to keep the cost of the wedding down! So glad I found this on revain!
