This is a beautiful and high quality shower head. I like the finish and the all metal construction. The silicone tips are easy to clean and ensure a drip-free rain shower feeling even after work. It can even be tilted slightly for an even rain shower effect. Installation is easy. You simply screw the shower head onto the 1/2" mount. Teflon tape is not needed. There is a rubber washer inside the screw on the coupler that fits fully against the mount. After I screw the head on I leave that Run water.and check for leaks.If not,you can use a 2mm allen key to tighten the safety screw.This is to prevent the shower head from loosening and falling off,because it's big and a bit heavy and it will cause injury or damage in the shower.You only need to tighten the locking screw slightly.This shower head has 2 water flow rates to save water.1.75 GPM and 2.5 GPM.If you want the fullest flow,choose a larger volume if your local Laws allow it. It is designed to operate in these flow ranges and will give excellent results there as long as your pressure is good. I would give at least a 5 recommend 5psi. If you have hard water and need to clean the jets, it is recommended to remove the shower head and then use a 4mm allen wrench to remove the mounting sleeve by loosening the screw in the center front of the shower head. Pour some cleaning solution into the now exposed headshell and let it sit. Flush, assemble and reinstall. High quality, thoughtful design with excellent performance.
