I've seen some bad reviews for cost and actual durability. Here's the thing - it really depends on a few factors. . How picky is your cat about the cleanliness of their litter box? Do you follow the instructions and clean the litter every day? Does your cat pee a lot or a little? Etc etc. I have two cats with me. One is a giant Maine Coon who is very picky about cleanliness and will usually refuse to use a litter box that hasn't been completely thrown out and cleaned after a week. My other cat is very small but pees like a race horse several times a day which of course wears out the litter faster than usual. Litter box, this litter lasts about eight days. In fact, I can extend the deadline to ten days, but that's only if our Maine Coon doesn't yell at us and demand that she be cleaned - she usually reminds me to clean the litter box every time. It can last up to 10 days, but it's TWICE LONGER THAN ANY OTHERS we've tried - and believe me, we've tried them all. All other crystalline, non-clumping fillers have been tested and THIS brand, especially this particular filler bag, is the ONLY one that truly eliminates odors almost 100%. And that is extremely low tracking. I used to find trash crystals all over my house, but with this litter I only have to sweep a few feet around the box every few days and even then it gets more because I'm already grouting the floors anyway.
