Great CarPlay Radio - Ram PU and Software Update Notes
This is a very good replacement radio. Installation was easy with the right install kit. Mine needed a software update (from the Jensen site) as it was an upgrade from version 1.1 to 1.3. Use a good flash drive and start the car. My upgrade kept failing until I used a better drive and started the truck. All I needed was the 200806 update. Note: Ram trucks do not have CarPlay working over the factory USB wiring in the center console. I extend the USB from behind the dash to the floor under the radio and plug it in there.
