I apparently made the mistake of ordering Size 8 instead of 13. With no one else in my life a size 8, I can only judge these based on visual inspection. They are well constructed with good materials. Comparable to a Major Label brand that I would purchase from an Outdoor Outfitters chain store. I really had been interested in how waterproof they actually are. I have a major brand that advertises that they are waterproof, but in execution not so much. Normally I would wait to write one of these reviews until I had put some miles on them hiking.Who knows maybe the vendor will see this and arrange to send me a size 13. :-)
