Review on MeFee RGB Laptop Cooling Pad: Powerful 6-Fan Cooler for 15.6-21 Inch Gaming Laptops with Button Control and Sleek Metal Panel by Vijin Wisniewski

Cool, but not "cool "

I bought this "expensive" cooling pad to keep my HP Envy 17t laptop cool while running gaming software. It does its job of cooling the laptop, but it's not "perfect". First bad news: 1) First, the display on the bottom of the cooling pad works when it wants to. Sometimes displays fan speed and lighting. Setting, in other cases everything on the display lights up at the same time, making it unusable. 2) The LEDs on the fans are red, period. The lighting on both sides has 8 different settings. Every time you turn it on, you get a setting (1). It doesn't remember the settings you like. The light cannot be turned off without turning off the entire cooling pad. 3) The 3 FAN modes described in the manual describe the modes as "left three fans running/right three fans running/all fans running". The big fans actually work. /Small fans are running/All fans are running. In other words, not as described. The best setup would be top/bottom/all fans as most laptops really only need 3 top fans for everyday use, the fans closest to the mouse pad. largely controversial. Good News: 1) This stand is great for a 17.3" laptop and the retractable legs on the bottom hold the PC well when the deck is tilted. 2) This device seems to be built quite solidly. The laptop doesn't give way when typing, and there's no squeaking from cheap plastic parts. The steel bar used to tilt the deck is also nice and strong. This is a very solid/stable platform. Laptop cooler Significantly cooler Especially for gaming and video editing Does this pad justify its price? Build quality, yes. Fan and light work? no If you can overcome the quirks, it will serve its purpose well.

Pros
  • Metal surface, 6-core deep cooling
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.
