I bought this because I'm a big fan of carbon fiber. I love the weight savings and strength that the CF offers, which is a huge plus for me. Thing is light, my Hero 5 Black with battery/skeleton case feels heavier. The top bracket is durable and made of anodized aluminum. The adjustment fittings are also anodized aluminum, which means I can tighten them without feeling like I'm going to break them. Fittings complete and expand the rack. This allows me to wash it off after dipping it in salt water. I use this bar with confidence for any activity. I never feel like I will lose my gopro. Also works great for snorkeling! I'm deducting one star for the only flaw I found. Poor quality black leash/belt adjuster. When I press the release button it doesn't really weaken, I can still move it but with quite a bit of effort. While this doesn't cause me much trouble, it's something that could be improved. After all, I'd rather it be too tight than too loose and risk it slipping off my wrist.
