I needed a portable bluetooth speaker and I chose this one mainly because it was orange. I have to say it took me about 4 hours to connect the speaker to my computer. Well maybe 3 minutes to plug it in, but then 4 hours for the sound to appear. It turns out that the connection is fine and seamless. Getting the tone out of them is another matter entirely. I've searched everywhere for answers but came across a solution that describes the problem from an ACER PC's perspective. It just so happened, I have an Acer. So I re-downloaded Acer's latest Bluetooth drivers (which were released a few years ago), but that worked. Now I can take the speaker around the house and outside and listen to music or TV shows. i really love it Oh, and I'm not sure if any of the issues I had were HP's fault. Just one of the mistakes I think.
