This torpedo level is well built and fits my digital goniometer at 0, 45 and 90 degrees. My only complaint is literally the barcode on the paper sticker, which is annoying to peel off (into pieces). The main body (orange) has a machined flat bottom and looks like a powder coated aluminum profile. The black ends are some sort of hard plastic (though it doesn't feel brittle) with a 1/16" rubber coating to cushion bumps and prevent scratches. The bubbles themselves are pretty cool - they appear to be encapsulated in epoxy. These aren't the glass pipes your grandfather used to work with. cheap Stanley level without hesitation.
