Review on πŸš— Dorman 674-536 Exhaust Manifold for Ford Models - Passenger Side by Chris Webb

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I have a real Dorman 674-536

. So I have a 2000 Mustang (not a California model). First let me go to the Dorman website and check the part number. The photo shown here on Amazon is not entirely correct. The one they send is a genuine Dorman 674-536 and it thinks it's a California model because it has an extra erg connector that comes out the front (see my customer photos). The connections are equipped with metal caps. So unless you have a California car like mine, you can just close the port cap tight and you'll be fine. I will update my post if the cap ever fails, but as of 10/25/2013 everything is fine. The first distributor I received was very similar to the one on Dorman's website, but the quality of the welds and parts was abysmal. So I sent it back to Amazon for a full refund and ordered another one. The front pipe and side weld on the first one sucked. The connections were so crude that even if it was a drain replacement ie not an upgrade it would perform worse. It comes with a gasket and two screws to attach it to the downpipe/catalytic converter system. The second one I got is great for a $70 OEM style replacement. I would recommend to anyone looking to replace a defective stock header, just be aware that you may have to return it to get a good one. See my photos.
