Review on 🍹 Sterilite 2 x 2 Quart Round Pitcher, Blue Sky Lid, Clear Base- Pack of 2: Versatile and Durable Pitchers for All Your Beverage Needs by Mark Loebis

I had 2 Sterilite Oval Jars that I used almost daily for about 20 years until both lids broke at about the same time. So my search for a replacement began. I love them so much I wanted to buy precision jugs but couldn't find any 2 liter oval jugs. So I bought them instead. I've always hated flip tops like these because the flip tops tend to fall off when you start watering, but they DO NOT fall off. You can fold it all the way back to lock, but even without locking it WILL NOT fall off. So + for that! I noticed that the pitcher design doesn't allow for the last tablespoon of liquid to be poured out, but since I almost always use my iced tea pitchers, I LOVE this aspect as it keeps that bitter part of the list from ruining my last glass. Tea. There are two things I dislike about this pitcher design. The old design had a switch lid so I could open the fridge by flipping the lid (while the jug was in the fridge) and then picking up the jug and pouring the drink with one hand. The new style requires me to remove the jug and either put the jug on or open the lid with my other hand so I can pour. This requires two hands, otherwise I have to move away from the refrigerator, first one, then the other. Another thing I don't like about the design is that it's round instead of oval. The oval shape made it possible to store the lid of the jar inside the jar when not in use. The round design does not allow this. I don't like keeping plastic sealed so I have to keep the lid separate from the jug and out of the way. Too bad. If I could give this jug 4 and 3/4 stars I would. Since I couldn't, I gave 5 stars.
