I like that it's small enough to fit on a shelf above the stove. The bottles don't hold much but I think that's ok because although you shouldn't store spices over the stove as they will go bad over time. However, with the amount of storage space, the amount of spices you can actually bottle and how fast I use them, this won't be a problem. If necessary, I can charge quickly. It just adds a bit of pizzazz to my stove top and makes it very handy when cooking. The unit is also very solid, it doesn't wobble and the bottles slide in and out easily when needed. I'm a spice collector, so my locker is full of spices. I can keep 18 of my favorite and everyday spices right above the stovetop for easy access so I don't have to dig through a large closet to find everything I need.
