I can say it "seems" well cut, but it remains to be seen how it will hold up to washing and wear. Do I want it thicker? Yes. It's "nice enough" but it's NOT a plush, thick, or "heavyweight" terry cloth. Just a few steps above the kitchen towel. A little better than a kitchen towel. I think we'll probably have to pay 3-4 times that amount to get a really heavy/thick robe like before, NORMAL. So I think I'm fine if I wrap myself in it to walk around the house right after the shower. Obviously it's too small. I'm 5'5" (female) and purposely bought a very large size hoping it would almost drag across the floor, but no, it hits me just above my ankles. The swing is wide enough, I can cover me fully, sides tuck in and I have a small tummy (I'm 70, tummy allowed) Haven't washed it yet/only worn it to try on It's recommended to wash before wearing UPDATE: It's ok after 1 wash. It won't keep me warm in this cold weather but will be ok in warm weather. I'll go back and adjust this if needed after a few washes and wears. Fingers crossed it holds out! π΅π€
