These tires are fine, ride pretty smooth, but I don't agree with that particular "roof" shape they have on the tread. It puts extra rubber and weight on overhanging "cornices" that rarely, if ever, make contact with the road, while leaving the center section (which makes the most road contact and wears out the fastest) too flimsy. I prefer round tires and preferably no tread grooves when driving on paved surfaces. or on anything other than grass and loose soil. The small footprint and high weight concentration of bicycle tires make aquaplaning impossible at any normal speed, making tread grooves on asphalt or concrete useless. This tire's groove runs right down the center of the tread, inviting rapid wear and easy punctures. If there's one spot where there should be thicker rubber, it's in the middle of the tread.
