Installs on a tile floor

The drain cover was big enough to cover the drain but the suction cups didn't stick to the slippery tile floor. I removed the 2 screws holding the metal grate to the floor drain, placed the rubber drain cap on top of the metal grate cover, centered and turned it upside down and secured the rubber drain to the bottom of the metal grate cover with 4" zip ties. Ties on each of the 2 sides opposite the holes where the metal screws attach the metal mesh to the drain and cut the "tail" off the tie. In the 2nd photo you can see how I attached the rubber cover to the metal mesh. Photo #1 shows how you can still peel off the rubber cover to reattach the metal mesh to the floor drain. Photo #3 shows the completed installation. You can't even see the transparent zippers. Both of my showers are tiled and it worked. both expire. Stays in place and doesn't slip. These rubber covers really pick up hair!
