I bought these for my kitchen chairs because we keep moving them off the table. I've used foam pads that clip under the chair legs, but they let me down because they kept popping out from under the chair leg and collecting dog hair. The silicone pads on the chair legs work great! I put them on and didn't have to put them on the chair legs at all. They sit very tight on the chair leg. The only problem I had was that I didn't realize that the front of my chair legs is larger than the back of the chair legs, so unfortunately I could only use them on the 2 back legs of my chairs. All in all, it's still a big improvement. I definitely recommend measuring your chair legs before ordering to get the best fit.
