My daughter and her friends started piercing their ears and noses with pins and needles they found all over the house. In the end we agreed to let them buy this kit. Within the first week of his arrival, our bathroom became a piercing site for older teens (with parental permission). While I definitely recommend going to a professional and I know it's risky doing it yourself, the girls got their septum, nose and navel piercings and everything healed perfectly.
