Review on πŸŽ’ The North Face Women's Surge Commuter Laptop Backpack: Stylish and Functional Travel Companion by Knate Scarpelli

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Beware of belts!

I didn't just get this backpack for use at university, I also got it for coming home from university I often have many things in my backpack, such as a heavy bike lock, sweatshirt, 15" laptop, Microsoft Surface, and other items like pens, notepads, and calculators. When I travel, I can pack even more things than these. That being said the bag can be quite heavy and offering a bit more room was very happy with the size and organization of the bag. I read a review or two that the straps were uncomfortable, but many of the reviews said they were comfortable. When I got the bag I loaded it with all my stuff and tried to make it as heavy as possible while cycling or hiking to appreciate how the straps felt. As soon as I put it on I knew I had to send it back. Even after I adjusted the bag to fit me, the straps dug into my shoulders and it hurt to wear it for even 5 minutes. The straps are unnecessarily stiff and feel like they're pinching you. After looking at this, this is obviously a common problem with North Face backpacks. I also don't think giving them the opportunity to change their feelings would make a difference. If you're not looking for an extra heavy bag, this might be a good option for you; However that the straps are uncomfortable but many reviews said they are comfortable.
