Review on Revolutionary Cordless Automatic Hair Curler: Curl Anytime, Anywhere! by Tania Parks

I've had this curling iron for a little over a month. I've used it about 4 times. I wanted to use it over the weekend and plugged it in to charge with a USB cable without an adapter. About 1 1/2 hours later, BOOM, it exploded. We were so lucky to be home and heard/saw the explosion from another room. My husband and I quickly ran into the room and found a burning stick on my dresser. We were able to unplug it, lift the non-burning part, and lower it into the water. The bedroom was filled with smoke and everything was covered in soot. I still shudder when I think about how close we came to losing everything. I am so thankful that the fire was contained to a wand/battery and although the ashes were scattered throughout the room nothing else caught fire. My furniture was burned, the blanket lying next to me turned black. Three days later you can still smell the pungent smell of burning. I connected the charging cable that came with the stick to the same USB charging port I used previously. I don't know why this happened, but I ask everyone to keep a close eye on the wand while it's charging. I will never use anything like this again.
