I wanted a TV stereo rather than a bedroom soundbar. I originally had an LG soundbar with a wireless subwoofer that I put under my bed. I really liked the soundbar in my living room, but when I replaced it with the Vizio, the LG in the bedroom sounded completely different. That's when I started looking for something else. I really like T-Amps but I needed something with an optical input and this fitted the bill. I was concerned when I started seeing some of the reviews of previous versions that were being cut off or the remote not working at certain angles. I have a Logitech Harmony 650 and it works perfectly. I recommend it to anyone who has trouble with the remote control. The equalizer and volume settings stay the same until I change them, which is probably why I got the latest version the other reviewers are talking about. I currently have it connected to multiple Polk Audio Monitor 30s and a PSW10 subwoofer. This little guy drives them with ease, and the sound is powerful and spacious. Dialogue is clear, with good mids and good highs. The bass is good, but the subwoofer still handles the lows. The volume isn't particularly "twisted" but it didn't need to be. Much better soundbar upgrade.
