Review on Monoprice 6ft 3.5mm Stereo Plug/Jack M/F Cable - Black: Reliable Audio Extension with 6ft Length by Troy Kocur

I received this extension cord yesterday and I have to say I'm not at all happy with it. I knew there would be some sound degradation, but this is terrible. The male end of the connector appears to be slightly undersized. When I plugged it into the headphone jack, it seemed loose. I connected the headphones to the cable and noticed that I had to turn the volume up almost to the max and the sound was muffled. I thought that was weird, so I unplugged the cable and plugged in the headphones straight away. The sound is much better and not dull. I'm not happy with the cable at all.
