This thing is AMAZING. If you are looking for cooling and comfort, this topper is a must! I went from a "cheap" 2 inch foam topper and it was comfy enough that I didn't have complaints, but I am such a hot sleeper I needed to invents in something different. I did a ton of searching for "cooling" mattress toppers before deciding on this one and holy moley not only is it actually cool to the touch, but it is so much more comfortable than my last topper, and I wasn't even looking for that extra comfort! I have slept through every night that I have had this thing so far. And as a hot sleeper with secondary insomnia, that doesn't happen often. I decided on this one vs other "cooling gel" toppers because this was the only one with plenty of reviews that actually mentioned the cooling effect.
