Performance seems fine
The same product is sold in auto parts stores and fits my 1997 Ford Ranger 4.0L V6 perfectly. I installed the spark plugs along with a new Autolite 96874 spark plug wire harness and have had no performance issues with them. I haven't noticed any noticeable increase in performance either, although I think I've found faster starts and smoother idling. The distance is not specified. The user must set the correct spark plug gap according to the vehicle's service manual.
