I don't know what this product will bring in terms of nutritional value because I just received it but I could hardly open it because my cat didn't push me to try it myself to open to get it faster to do this! It looks like a quality product although I have no comparison (never bought a bone meal product before) but it is a rich deep brown color, has a real smell - meaning not unpleasant, but not odorless either ---- and as said b4, my cat definitely gives 4 paws UP for "I want it NEOWWWWW!" I feed raw food (not ground) so I just sprinkle it on his cuts of meat and stir in about a spoonful of water and he licks the plate clean! I really hope it's as good for him as he thinks it tastes.
