Works great as a fixed shelf for desktop or kitchen equipment. Space between the forks for large forks. 5 USB ports for charging multiple cell phones, tablets etc (main reason I bought it) Low ratings higher because it's bulky and doesn't fit in my laptop travel bag, about average cord length, non-retractable and doesn't have a travel handle . There are 2 things I don't like about this tower. None of them are large enough to guarantee they will not be used, returned, or discounted. Minor dislike: 1 cord non-retractable (you can fold and tie the cord so it's no big deal) I'm listening to Weird Al singing about first world problems right now. -big displeasure: the USB sockets are on the same circuit as the ground socket to the right of it. I didn't know, and when I plugged in my phone and didn't charge it, I thought it was defective. I assumed he was trying to connect because the light was flicking on and off, but maybe a short was preventing him from doing so (video posted). Asked an Amazon rep and he said turn everything off and on again. USB turned out to be on a side I didn't include (numbers). I wish it had a sticker with an arrow pointing to the right switch or the power button to you.
