I bought this product because of its environmental credentials. In general, everything is fine, it copes with its task. However, a greyish precipitate formed on first use. Most of it dissipated after a while, but some stayed at the bottom of the container. Also, I had trouble setting up a digital display that didn't come with a setup guide. Plus it's great and I managed to completely filter out the overpowering taste of chlorine in my water.
