It may seem strange to post pictures of a kettle, but we descale it every two weeks. Since purchasing the Barrier water filter we have had no more mineral deposits.

I think this filter gives better tasting water than Brita or Pur. The design is slightly different from other steins and takes a little getting used to when pouring. Although it doesn't really matter. On the other hand, I really like their filtration system that attaches to the faucet. The water tastes great. Admittedly, a large filter is expensive to buy, but more cost effective in the long run since you only need to replace it once a year.

Most of it dissipated after a while, but some stayed at the bottom of the container. Also, I had trouble setting up a digital display that didn't come with a setup guide. Plus it's great and I managed to completely filter out the overpowering taste of chlorine in my water.

I have had this pitcher for several years. After shoulder surgery I picked it up - COMPLETELY - to move it and dropped it. We have been using this product in our household for several years. I'm delighted that I can now easily order replacement filters from Revain. It's designed to be compared head-to-head with Brita products and this one wins by a wide margin. Unlike the bulky Brita, all the pieces fit together easily and securely, staying in place without popping out and forcing you to glue a new filter cartridge onto the jug like I did with the Brita just to make sure everything fits and stays together properly.
