Clean & Clear Gentle cleanser with aloe vera for acne-prone and sensitive skin. The cleanser is a thick, gel-like cleanser with a light foam that is a mixture of gel and foam. This cleanser is suitable for facial cleansing without make-up. The face is fresh and clean after use. But for face with makeup, it mainly removes makeup, dirt, oil but leaves residue. After using this cleanser, after my teenage girl wiped her regular toner + cotton swab all over her face, she still picked up dirt/oil/makeup residue. Double cleaning is more thorough. It's mostly gentle but slightly tingles the exposed areas of the pimple (perhaps due to the citric acid ingredient), which seems to really heal the pimples and make them go away faster. I love that it's vegan, paraben-free, and dye-free. Overall, a good gentle cleanser for an acne-prone face without makeup.
