UPDATE: I contacted NiteRider about the following situation and they immediately sent me a replacement bulb as it was still under warranty so that's great. It would have been nice if it hadn't broken in the first place. The new light has an additional mode of operation, it's good to hear they listen to customer feedback. I increased my rating by one star because of the good customer service. This is a very bright light but I just lost ANOTHER NiteRider product due to poor construction. I was very happy with it but after less than 2 years of use its fragile little button broke rendering the entire lighting and battery system unusable. Keep in mind that I am a mechanical engineer and I understand how to take care of products by treating them with care so it is unacceptable for them to break so easily with normal use. My NiteRider flashlight also failed (charger connector broke off), I'm changing to another brand.
