Bought as a solution to keep our animals off our sofa. After scouring retail stores for deluxe extra large bean bag chairs, we knew the cost would be $2,000 (Google Phur Sac), so we were willing to spend a little more to make this version equal. Depending on what you choose on Amazon, the current cost is $35 to $70. We spent $70 and used Xtreme Comforts crushed memory foam ($35), which is probably enough for most people as it's very compact and stretches a lot. But with 3 animals competing for space that we knew would crush the foam, we also added a spare Big Joe bean bag filler. We bought 2 packs but could only fit one in a bean bag ($20). Only do this if you want your article to be too crowded, otherwise skip it. After a year and a half and multiple washes, it still looks great and brand new (shiny/white). First Shed. Wash the cover first if that bothers you. It's faux fur, so it's going to happen. We always get compliments on it and people can't resist hugs with animals on them (we do too). Would definitely buy again!
