We got this to be able to make my husbands', moms' pan bread.We have an electric glass top oven and can't use cast iron on it.Her recipe calls for starting on the stove eye then finishing in the oven.She always used cast iron, and I never found a pan I liked other than cast iron, that could do both until this one.It arrives ready to wash and use.It seems to be very well made.I am a huge fan of the ninja line and have or had most of it.It feels solid and durable.To test it out I made eggs and melted a piece of cheese in it with no better or oil in the pan.The cheese melted and bubbled and the egg fried perfectly.I literally slid them both out of the pan onto a plate and nothing stuck to the pan.Next I used it like a cookie sheet and cooked some vegetable in the over to get them blackend at 450 degrees.They also turned out perfect and after I washed the pan it looks good as new.It handled that heat perfectly.I would buy this again.
