Review on Ninja CW102RD NeverSticking Premium PossiblePan Set - Including 4-Quart Capacity Pan, Glass Lid, Steamer/Strainer Basket, & Integrated Spatula by John Camelio

Revainrating 4 out of 5

NEVER use this as a serving dish as shown in video unless you want burned hands!

Ok, as you may be able to see in the picture, I already have a larger version of this pan that is stainless steel. This pan is my go to pan day in and day out for sauces, frying, etc. I literally use it daily. I normally cook for three adults and I find that my pan is good for that. Just large enough to make a little extra. However, I sometimes cook for one or two and a smaller pan would be nice. So, when this set became available, I ordered it. Here is what I found:1. Compared to my all steel pan, this one does not heat up as evenly. It does a good job, just not as good as my other pan. The trade off though is this is a lighter pan and it is non-stick.2. With respect to non-stick, I have to say that i have never had an issue with my steel pan. But I do use oil, so that is a trade off too.3. The basket that is included in this set is very nice for doing dumplings! You can get them just right and not have them soggy! It is also good for steamed veggies, as they advertise.4. The spatula that fits on the lid is a gimmick and dangerous in my book. First, have you ever actually used a spatula while cooking? If you have, then you know it will have whatever you are cooking on it. If a sauce is involved, it will have that on it. Do you really want that to drip on your pot lid? Also, when you take your pot lid off, how do you do that with the spatula there? This is where I consider it dangerous as you will inevitably flip the spatula out and try to catch it. Not a good think! Also makes for lousy storage as it increases the height quite a bit.5. So far I am not seeing any fantastic non-stick that I was not getting with my steel pan, but it is lighter and that makes it easier to handle. The steamer function is great as it fits the pan and is easy to use.All in all, it is doing what I wanted and I would recommend it if you are need of such a pan.
