These men's casual slip-on shoes are true to size, comfortable and easy to wear according to my husband. There are no surprises with this pair of shoes, they look exactly as they do in the photos. The (elastic) laces can be somewhat adjusted with the little side cones, which I'm not personally a fan of, but he likes them and that's what matters. These are higher than normal shoes or loafers, which is why I suppose "boots” are named in the description. The shoes are very lightweight, almost too lightweight, which makes me concerned about how long they will last as the soles aren't very thick. Since these aren't his only pair of shoes, I think they should do alright as he won't be wearing them day in and day out. These are a nice alternative to sneakers and since he (and I) are both at an age where comfortable shoes are becoming more important to our aging feet, I'm glad he likes them. I personally think these could use quite a lot more arch support, but he's fine with them.As far as value, I think these are a fair value for the size 13 pair, (currently just under thirty) particularly for the higher-top design. When it's muddy outside, the white soles/sides aren't suitable and something to keep in mind. I would like to see these loafers available with darker soles, such as charcoal or black. All in all, because these are true to size, comfortable, stylish and easy to wear according to my husband, I'm pleased with them. Thanks for reading.
