The main disadvantage is visor accessories
It is designed to fit on the back of the visor so you can fold it down to take whatever you need from the various pockets. However, if you put something inside, your visor will become too bulky to fold down completely. If you try to make it any other way (i.e. it will face you when the visor is closed) the moment you use the visor and have to flip it down, things will pour out of it.
